Downtown Dubai is the centre of Dubai and the most important area in the city. It is a bustling area full of skyscrapers, restaurants and service establishments. Here you will find famous buildings such as the Burj Khalifa, towering over the entire district, the tallest and most famous building in the world, a true symbol of Dubai. From its summit, you can admire the city skyline in several options, which you can purchase here:

In this district, you will also find world-famous shopping centres and amazing fountains, whose show attracts millions of people every year to the square in front of the world's tallest building. In October 2025, the renovation of the fountains was completed, making this spectacle even more spectacular. Luxury shops and amazing architecture are accompanied by world-class hotels, creating a futuristic urban community. Shopping enthusiasts will have nothing to complain about in Downtown. Next to the Burj Khalifa is The Dubai Mall, the largest shopping centre in the world. It houses over 1,200 shops and its entire area is equivalent to 200 football pitches! Inside, you will find an ice rink, an aquarium and a zoo, shops of every exclusive brand in the world, but it is only when you leave the Dubai Mall that the magic happens. After leaving the shopping centre, at the foot of Burj Khalifa and Burj Lake, a real spectacle awaits you. The water show with a view of the Burj Khalifa takes place every half hour from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is something you definitely have to experience while in Dubai.

This district is Dubai's second centre, right next to Downtown. Dubai Marina is home to the city's tallest skyscrapers, beautiful views of the never-sleeping city, shops, restaurants and beaches. When you're wondering where to eat and spend your time during your holiday, Dubai Marina is one of the best options. From this description, it seems as if Dubai Marina has everything – and this is not far from the truth. It is an affluent residential district that includes JBR – Jumeirah Beach Residence, a residential and entertainment complex with a long, wide sandy beach. Palm Jumeirah – a luxurious artificial island

Probably the most unique of all Dubai's districts, Palm Jumeirah is an artificial palm-shaped island known for its top-class attractions and the world's most expensive hotels, exclusive restaurants and unique lifestyle. It is here that one of the most expensive hotels and symbols of Dubai is located: Atlantis. The Palm. There are plenty of hotels throughout the Palm, whose prices and opulence can knock you off your feet. You can travel around Palm Jumeirah on a unique form of public transport – the Palm Monorail. Al Satwa – graffiti and local life

If you want to get to know the older Dubai, its classic buildings and feel the scent of history right next to you, then you have to visit this district. Al Satwa is one of the oldest districts of Dubai, allowing you to experience the real street life of most Dubai residents. It is full of shops and restaurants at affordable prices, similar or often cheaper than our Polish prices. The buildings in Al Satwa are definitely different from those we know from the centre of Dubai. Low-rise buildings and small villas dominate here. The wealthier buildings often have beautiful verandas and are surrounded by tree-lined avenues that provide welcome shade in high temperatures.

A walk around the district allows you to experience everything: you will find shops with every possible assortment, from good brand-name stores to second-hand clothing and cheap equivalents. It is worth stopping by Al Hudaiba Road, or Plant Street, with its numerous florists and garden shops. There are plenty of restaurants serving Asian cuisine, especially Filipino (Al Satwa is called ‘Little Manila’) and not only that: Pakistani, Indian, Lebanese and many more. After shopping and eating, you can relax in Al Satwa Park, where local families relax at the end of the day. A must-see during a trip to the Al Satwa district is the large graffiti inspired by Arab heritage. It is located on 2nd of December Street. The street commemorates the day the United Arab Emirates was founded. The nearest metro station is the Max red metro line station. Al Safa – parks and villas

Here you will not find the most famous monuments from the TOP 10 list in Dubai, but you will experience peace, relaxation and tranquillity. Al Safa is a quiet and peaceful residential neighbourhood in Dubai, with extensive green areas and seaside shopping and dining centres. It is located between Jumeirah and Sheikh Zayed Road, making it one of the best locations in the city. In the beginning, it was just a cluster of small villas and shops, but with the opening of the Dubai Water Canal, on which part of the district lies, Al Safa has become a thriving commercial, service and dining centre by the water. The neighbourhood itself is quiet, and residents have Downtown with the Dubai Mall, Kite Beach and Burj Al Arab within easy reach. This makes Al Safa one of the best places to live in Dubai.

You can go for a picnic or play team sports in Safa Park, enjoy sweet treats or sandwiches at the nearby stalls, and take a stroll along Dubai Creek with a perfect view of Burj Khalifa. Safa Park is also an ideal place for families with children to spend some quiet time together in the never-sleeping metropolis. The district is home to the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque. It is one of the first mosques to open its doors wide to non-Muslims. It draws much inspiration from the 17th-century Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Turkey and is commonly referred to as the ‘Blue Mosque’. Al Shindagha – the historic centre of Dubai

The historic district of Al Shindagha is a living project aimed at preserving and showcasing the rich heritage of the Emirate of Dubai. Located on Dubai Creek, it is the cultural and historical centre of the city and a must-see for anyone who wants to discover Dubai before the era of modern skyscrapers. A stroll through the narrow, winding streets of this district, also known as Al Bastakiya, takes you back in time to the 19th century. The architecture is characterised by traditional sand-coloured buildings made of clay and coral, with distinctive wind towers (barjeel) that served as natural air conditioning. These restored houses, which once surrounded inner courtyards, now house numerous art galleries, cafés, craft boutiques and small museums.

At the heart of the story is Dubai's oldest building, Al Fahidi Fort, which housed the Dubai Museum (currently closed for renovation), displaying exhibits on the lives of the inhabitants before the discovery of oil. Places worth visiting include the Al Shindagha Museum, where you can learn about the history and culture of Dubai, the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU), offering traditional meals and lectures on Emirati culture, and the House of Calligraphy (Dar Al Khatt). The visit is complemented by a cruise on a traditional abra boat for a symbolic 1 AED, which runs between Bur Dubai and Deira, allowing you to admire the view of the Old Town from the water. The district is also bustling with life thanks to the Sikka Art Market and Heritage Week, which highlight its artistic and social character.

Motor City – Dubai's motorsport centre

Motor City in Dubai is a modern, green residential district. The construction of the district is centred around one point – the Dubai Autodrome race track. There are also shopping centres and family restaurants, but the most important thing is the home of racing. Originally, the Dubai Autodrome was supposed to host Formula 1 races. However, due to various problems with the project, Abu Dhabi gained the title of host of the F1 track. Nevertheless, the race track in Dubai still serves its purpose – series such as Asian Le Mans, F4 UAE and local GT car series race here. Tourists can come and watch the races or drive around the track themselves in one of the fast cars or a racing car modelled on individual Formula classes. You can book your ride on their official website – Dubai Autodrome. There is also a go-kart track on site, both outdoor and indoor. The outdoor track in particular is a great attraction for tourists who love fast driving, and a visit to Motor City is a must for any fan of fast racing.

Motor City is also one of the fastest growing architectural districts of the city, where both Emiratis and expats are eager to buy flats and houses in modern development complexes and green housing estates. The lack of traffic jams, a large number of shops, restaurants, parks and, above all, peace and quiet are factors that encourage people to move to the Motor City area. You can follow the latest development projects in this district on the Estate Two Continents website.
