Modern cashier-less shopping will soon be available at airports as well. The Żabka chain plans to open its first store at an airport in Poland, introducing an innovative retail concept for travelers.
The first Żabka store is set to open at one of Poland’s airports. For now, neither the specific airport nor the exact opening date has been disclosed. The chain’s entry into airport premises marks another step in the brand’s development and expansion of its presence in high-traffic locations.
The new location will operate in the Żabka Nano format, i.e., a self-service store with no traditional cash registers or sales staff. Shopping is fully automated—customers can enter the store, select products, and leave, and payment will be charged directly to their account.
