From 1 February to 19 July 2027, Eindhoven Airport will be closed due to the modernisation of the runway and the completion of the passenger terminal extension.
The information has been officially confirmed by the airport authorities on their social media. The closure of Eindhoven Airport for almost six months in early 2027 is necessary, as confirmed by airport representatives, to carry out essential modernisation work and complete the expansion of the passenger terminal. A top-tier ILS system, allowing aircraft to land even in the most challenging weather conditions, and increasing the airport’s capacity by 2 million passengers a year is a goal too important not to close the airport for such a long period. What about airline routes to Eindhoven? It is not yet known, but flights to Eindhoven will most likely be replaced by routes to nearby airports.
