Dubai’s emergency services demonstrated their effectiveness in the face of extreme weather conditions. During a violent storm, Dubai Police handled tens of thousands of emergency calls while maintaining an exceptionally fast response time.
Over four days of heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions, Dubai Police responded to more than 56,000 emergency calls. The scale of the events was immense, and the situation required the immediate mobilization of emergency services across Dubai.
Despite the enormous strain on the system, the police achieved a 97% response rate, answering most calls in less than 10 seconds. Such rapid action was made possible by advanced call management systems and efficient coordination of operational teams.
