2025 a record year for Chopin Airport

The year 2025 will go down in the history of Warsaw Chopin Airport. The capital's airport ended the year with an impressive result of nearly 24.1 million passengers served, confirming its position as the largest and fastest-growing airport in Poland.

Compared to 2024, passenger traffic at Chopin Airport increased by as much as 13 percent. Growing interest in travel, the development of the route network, and an increasing number of long-haul flights translated into record statistics for the entire year.

December 2025 was particularly impressive, with the Warsaw airport serving nearly 1.8 million travelers. This was the best result in the airport's history for that month, confirming the continuing high traffic growth even outside the summer season.

The year 2025 was a record-breaking one not only in terms of passenger numbers. Chopin Airport also handled approximately 137,000 tons of cargo and a growing number of flight operations, further strengthening its importance as a key transport hub in the Central and Eastern European region.
