The Uber platform has entered into an official partnership with Port Lotniczy Wrocław S.A., offering a dedicated pick-up zone and modern technological solutions.
Uber’s partnership with Wrocław Airport will launch on 1 April. This news will certainly please passengers at Wrocław Airport and tourists arriving in Lower Silesia. What will this partnership involve? According to Uber, a special dedicated pick-up zone for passengers using the Uber app will be created, located in the Kiss & Fly lane beneath the airport terminal. Clear signage inside the terminal, as well as outside the building and within the pick-up zone itself, will make it easier for passengers to find drivers and streamline the process of booking rides upon arrival.
Of course, modern technology will also be utilised, which should come as no surprise to anyone these days. Using predictive algorithms, Uber will ensure short waiting times for rides and make sure the algorithm maintains a constant, sufficient number of vehicles in the vicinity of the airport. We can also expect special promotions for passengers landing in Wrocław who book an Uber ride to their destination.
