The World Surf League competition will once again be held in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi will once again become the center of world surfing! From October 24 to 26, 2025, the second edition of the Surf Abu Dhabi Longboard Classic tournament, organized as part of the World Surf League, will be held on Hudayriyat Island.

For three days, the best international longboard surfers will compete on the waves of a specially prepared surfing zone. The audience will be able to enjoy up to nine hours of surfing a day, watching the competitors from rooftop terraces with a perfect view of the ocean arena.

In addition to the exciting competition, the organizers have also prepared live music and accompanying attractions that will transform Hudayriyat Beach into a vibrant center of sports and fun.

The list of participants includes true longboarding legends. Among them are Steven Sawyer from South Africa, Alison Lemoigne from France, and five-time world champion Taylor Jensen from the United States. Their presence guarantees the highest level of competition and spectacular performances that will delight both experienced surfing fans and new viewers.

Most importantly, general admission to the event is free, so everyone will be able to feel the atmosphere of the competition and admire the world's top surfers in action.
