Wizz Air has removed as many as 12 flights on the Radom–Larnaca route from its booking system during the summer holiday period.
Cyprus’s run of bad luck continues unabated. The country, which in recent years has become a year-round tourist hotspot, particularly among Poles, is paying a heavy price for the US/Israel-Iran conflict, fears of flying to the Middle East, and high aviation fuel prices. Despite the fact that Cyprus is a safe destination and there is no need to fear travelling to the Island of Aphrodite, some travellers are opting out of this destination, and the rise in aviation fuel prices has forced airlines to reduce the number of flights to this destination.
At the end of March we reported on the first cuts to holiday flights from Poland to Larnaca. At that time, airports in Katowice, Gdańsk and Wrocław were affected, and now Radom. The route from Radom to Larnaca will operate twice a week during the holiday season, on Mondays and Fridays, without the previously announced additional service on Tuesdays. This additional service will only operate twice in June and from the end of September to the end of October.
