SWISS has published its winter flight schedule. Initial analysis suggests that Poznań will not feature in it, and the last flight from Zurich to Poznań will take place on 22 October.
On 19 May 2026, Swiss International Air Lines published its 2026/27 winter flight schedule on its social media and booking systems. Among the new additions was the city of Bangalore, but from the perspective of a Polish passenger, the most significant development is what is missing – Poznań. The popular route from Poznań to Zurich will operate for the last time on 22 October. What next? At this stage, it is unclear what the future holds for the route from Ławica to one of Switzerland’s most important cities. When SWISS announced the route, it was not known whether it would also operate during the winter season, but Poznań Airport was naturally counting on this. A spokesperson for Poznań-Ławica Airport, speaking to the Fly4free.pl website, emphasises that the future of the route to Zurich is not yet decided, and its fate will depend on the geopolitical situation and fuel prices in the aviation market.
