Premium economy class on Turkish Airlines

After a 12-year break, Turkish Airlines has decided to reintroduce the option to travel in premium economy class. This new-old travel class will return to long-haul routes in 2028.

From 2028, passengers travelling on Turkish Airlines flights will once again be able to book their journey in premium economy class. Twelve years ago, the Turkish national carrier discontinued this option, when it was still known as ‘Economy Comfort’, but new trends in the passenger market are forcing the airline’s management to reintroduce a premium version of economy class. We do not yet know the full details or the exact specifications of the seats in the new class, nor the benefits associated with this upgraded travel class, but these are expected to be announced in the near future.
