Bolt officially launches in Abu Dhabi. Dubai Taxi Company and its strategic partner Bolt have announced the launch of ride-hailing services in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, thereby expanding their partnership into a new market.
The launch of Bolt’s services in Abu Dhabi marks another step in the development of the partnership between Dubai Taxi Company and the European mobility platform. The expansion aims to strengthen the availability of modern transportation services in the Emirates and meet the growing needs of residents and tourists.
The decision to bring Bolt to Abu Dhabi stems from growing interest in online ride-hailing services. In 2025, Dubai Taxi Company recorded a 24% increase in online booking activity in the taxi and limousine segment compared to the previous year.
