In October this year, Ryanair will launch a new route from Wrocław to Madrid. Flights to the Spanish capital will be operated by both Wizz Air and Ryanair.
Ryanair is launching a new route to Wrocław Airport, duplicating Wizz Air’s existing service. From 26 October, Ryanair will fly from Wrocław to Madrid. Flights to the Spanish capital will operate three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This will provide competition and complement Wizz Air, which currently flies to Madrid from Wrocław on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and during the winter season will fly three times a week, but on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This means almost daily flights to the Spanish capital for passengers from Wrocław and the surrounding area, and a potential price war that could lead to lower ticket prices.
