Wizz Air has announced a temporary suspension of flights on the route from Krakow to Abu Dhabi from July 31 to September 15, 2025.
A few days ago, Wizz Air announced that due to the tense situation in the Middle East (the conflict between Israel and Iran), flight times from Poland to the United Arab Emirates may be extended. We have now received information about the temporary suspension of the only route available from Poland to the UAE during the summer holidays. The break in the Krakow-Abu Dhabi route will last from July 31 to September 15, 2025. Tickets for this period are not available for sale, and holders of purchased flights are receiving emails from the morning about the cancellation of the connection and further steps to receive compensation.
The route from Budapest to Abu Dhabi has also been suspended. The cancellation of flights to the capital of the United Arab Emirates also has other, less comfortable consequences. All passengers who planned to travel to Asia or Africa with a transfer in Abu Dhabi, flying exclusively with Wizz Air, will only receive a refund for the canceled segment from Poland to the UAE. For onward travel, passengers must make their own arrangements to get to Abu Dhabi or cancel their flights at their own expense.
