The Beliansky Express train returns from Muszyna to Poprad

The Beliansky Express train

On 13 June, the Beliansky Express train, connecting Poland and Slovakia, returned to the tracks. Tickets start from just 3 euros.

Małopolskie Railways has informed passengers that on 13 June this year, the unique Beliansky Express train, connecting Muszyna on the Polish side with Poprad in Slovakia, returned to the tracks. This beautiful scenic route, running through the heart of the Slovak Tatra Mountains, will stop at the following stations: Muszyna-Plaveč-Stará Ľubovňa-Podoliniec-Spišská Belá-Kežmarok to Poprad-Tatry station in Poprad. Trains will run twice daily, in the morning and afternoon in both directions, every Saturday and Sunday until the end of August. The ticket prices are as follows:

  • Muszyna-Plaveč - 12.90 PLN/3 euros
  • Muszyna-Stará Ľubovňa - 17.20 PLN/4 euros
  • Muszyna-Podolínec – 21.50 PLN/5 euros
  • Muszyna-Spišská Belá – 21.50 PLN/5 euros
  • Muszyna-Kežmarok – 21.50 PLN/5 euros
  • Muszyna-Poprad-Tatry – 25.80 PLN/6 euros

Tickets in zlotys can only be purchased in Muszyna before the train departs; on board the train, payment is only accepted in euros. Discounts? Children under 6 travel free of charge, and those aged 6 to 16 receive a 50% discount. Transporting a bicycle costs 6.45 PLN/1.50 euros regardless of the ticket price, and transporting a dog costs 50% of the standard ticket price.
