New Ryanair routes from Katowice

Ryanair has added three new routes from Katowice to its booking system. From Pyrzowice Airport, we will be able to fly to Lamezia Terme in southern Italy, Aarhus in Denmark and the Albanian capital, Tirana.

Ryanair has added not one, not two, but three new routes to its booking system. The new connections from Poland are interesting holiday destinations, business destinations and universal holiday destinations. Where will we fly and when? We have prepared more details about Ryanair's new routes from Poland:

  • From 2 June, Ryanair will fly from Katowice to Lamezia Terme. This Italian route will operate three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, until 24 October. Ryanair will thus duplicate Wizz Air's connection from Pyrzowice to southern Italy, which will increase competition on this route and increase price competition and flexibility of choice for passengers. And what kind of destination is Lamezia Terme? It is a base for exploring Calabria, the southernmost region of mainland Italy, which is still underappreciated and less visited by Polish tourists.
  • From 2 June, Ryanair will fly from Katowice to Aarhus. The new route to Denmark will operate twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays. What can you expect from this new route? Aarhus is located in Jutland and is Denmark's second largest city. It is the cultural centre of this part of Denmark, also known as the shopping capital, a land of strong winds and majestic beaches, an ideal place for a city break. Previously, it was only possible to fly from Poland to Aarhus from Gdańsk.
  • From 2 June, Ryanair will fly from Katowice to Tirana. The connection to the capital of Albania will operate twice a week: on Thursdays and Saturdays, and from July three times a week with an additional rotation on Tuesdays. This is yet another route from Poland to Albania, an extremely popular and growing destination in recent years. Poles are increasingly choosing Tirana as their holiday destination and, immediately after landing, they head towards Durres, Vlora or Saranda to enjoy the beauty of the Balkans without the mass tourism found in Croatia.
