The Ulma Family Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport has set another record in its history. In May this year, almost 120,000 passengers used its services, which represents an increase of over 22% compared to the same month last year. This is the result of an expanded network of connections, attractive holiday destinations, as well as growing interest in the region among both tourists and business travellers.
- May was an exceptionally busy and satisfying month for us. We are delighted that more and more passengers are choosing Rzeszów-Jasionka as their departure or destination airport. We hope that the coming months will be just as successful - said Adam Hamryszczak, President of the Management Board of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Ulm Family Airport.
Regular flights are already available from Jasionka to Rome, Milan, Alicante, Zadar, Malta and Crete, among other destinations. Charter flights take travellers to Bulgaria, Montenegro, Albania, Egypt, Greece, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey, among other destinations. Compared to last year, the number of charter passengers has increased by over 30%.
- The holiday season has started in earnest, and we have many attractive destinations for passengers that are really worth seeing - adds Hamryszczak.
