Ryanair announced that a passenger who disrupted a flight from Glasgow to Krakow was legally fined by a court. The incident took place on 30 June 2024, and the case was finally resolved after a year and a half.
The ill-fated Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Krakow had to make an emergency landing in Rzeszów due to the inappropriate behaviour of one of the passengers. The man was removed from the aircraft by the relevant authorities, which caused a significant delay and unnecessary disruption to the journey of the other passengers.
After a year and a half of proceedings, the court issued a ruling fining the passenger €3,230. As Ryanair emphasises, this is an important signal to everyone that behaviour that disrupts the safety and comfort of a flight will not be tolerated.
