A new direct flight service from Cracow to Riyadh could take off as early as this summer. Saudi airline Flynas is planning to launch regular flights between the capital of Malopolska and the capital of Saudi Arabia, opening up new opportunities for tourists and business.
The carrier intends to use Airbus A320neo aircraft, which can accommodate 174 passengers, to service the route. The new route will increase Cracow's accessibility for tourists from the Middle East and facilitate travel for Poles interested in the exotic destination of Saudi Arabia.
If the planned connection comes to fruition, Krakow will become one of the few Polish cities with direct flights to Saudi Arabia. This is further evidence of the growing importance of Cracow Airport in the international route network and the increasing interest in the Middle East.
