The Solidarity (NSZZ) Airport in Szczecin-Goleniów is set for a major expansion. This is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the West Pomeranian region, which is intended to significantly improve travel comfort and adapt the airport to the growing number of passengers.
The modernisation includes the construction of a new passenger terminal and an increase in the number of parking spaces for aircraft and vehicles. The project aims not only to increase the port's capacity, but also to improve operational efficiency and the quality of passenger service.
The expansion is scheduled to begin in 2025 and is expected to be completed around 2028. The estimated cost of the investment is 170 million PLN. Importantly, the airport will not be closed during the reconstruction – all flight operations will be carried out in parallel with the construction work.
