Wizz Air will fly from Kraków to Genoa, Basel and Bergen
More news for passengers from Poland! Wizz Air has launched the launch of 3 new routes from Kraków. In June 2025, we will fly from Balice to Genoa, Basel and Bergen.
The last few days have been very good for passengers from Poland. Europe's largest low-cost airlines, Wizz Air and Ryanair, have been outdoing themselves in announcing new connections from Polish airports. It is no different this time. Krakow airport will gain 3 new routes from the hungarian airline in June. Wizz Air will fly from Balice to Genoa in Italy, Basel in Switzerland and Bergen in Norway.
3 new Wizz Air connections from Kraków. We will fly to Italy, Switzerland and Norway
From June 2025, Wizz Air will add a sixth aircraft to its fleet at Krakow airport, which will result in the launch of new routes. What do the new routes look like?
- Kraków-Genua: the route will take off on 17 June and will operate three times a day: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This is the second route from Poland to Genoa announced recently (previously from Warsaw-Chopina). This comes as a surprise, as prior to the announcement of flights from Okęcie, Poland had no low-cost airline connection to Liguria.
- Krakow-Basel: the route will take off on 15 June and will be operated four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
- Kraków-Bergen: the route will take off on 17 June and will be operated 3 times a day: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
