Dubai is preparing one of the largest transportation projects in its history. The new Dubai Metro Gold Line will be 42 kilometers long, run entirely underground, and significantly expand the emirate’s existing metro network.
The Dubai Metro Gold Line is an ambitious project that will cover a 42-kilometer route. Thanks to this investment, Dubai’s metro network will expand by as much as 35%, which will significantly improve mobility for residents and tourists. The new line will start in Al Ghubaiba and run all the way to Jumeirah Golf Estates. Along the way, it will connect 15 strategic areas of the city, covering key residential, business, and tourist districts.
The line will consist of 18 stations and will run entirely underground. This solution will minimize the project’s impact on existing urban development and improve traffic flow without interfering with surface-level road traffic.
