Wizz Air has announced plans to launch a new route connecting Budapest with Mumbai. This is the Hungarian carrier's first direct connection to India, which is intended to support both economic and scientific development, as well as increase tourist traffic between Europe and Asia.
Wizz Air intends to launch direct flights from Budaepszet to Mumbai in India. The new route will be served by modern Airbus A321XLR aircraft, which, thanks to their greater range, will allow direct flights between Hungary and India. Wizz Air plans to operate daily flights, which will give passengers more flexibility when planning their trips.
The launch of the Budapest-Mumbai flights is not only good news for tourists, but also an important step for economic relations between Hungary and India. The direct connection will facilitate business travel and may also attract more tourists to both countries.
