At the end of November, Wizz Air will launch a direct domestic connection in Slovakia. The Hungarian airline will connect Bratislava with Košice.
Passengers will be able to take advantage of the new domestic flight connection in Slovakia up to nine times a week at affordable prices. According to Slovak media reports, Wizz Air will launch flights from Bratislava to Košice at the end of November 2025. With nine flights a week and prices starting at £19.99 for a one-way ticket, the Hungarian airline will connect the west and east of Slovakia and facilitate domestic travel for its citizens. Flights will operate daily, with additional rotations on Mondays and Fridays. Passengers will be able to arrive at the airport just 40 minutes before departure. The connection is to be operated at least until the end of spring 2028, and the state will subsidise the service from Wizz Air with €5.2 million.
