Aeroitalia Airlines will operate the route from Lublin to Rome-Fiumicino not with Boeing 737s, as originally announced, but with smaller Embraer E190SRs.
On 22 March 2025, a hit route from Lublin took off: Italian airline Aeroitalia launched a direct connection from Lublin Airport to Rome-Fiumicino. Tuesday and Saturday flights were to be operated by Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft, capable of carrying up to 189 passengers. After several rotations, the airline changed its mind and the Lublin-Rome connection will be operated by Aeroitalia using Embraer E190SR aircraft, which can carry up to 98 passengers.
