Ryanair is suspending all flights from Poland to Israel until at least October 2025. The Irish carrier's decision is a result of the deteriorating security situation in the region.
According to Ryanair, the decision to suspend flights was made due to the ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip and the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. The main reason is concerns about the safety of flight operations in the Tel Aviv area, a city to which Ryanair previously operated regular flights from several Polish airports.
Ben Gurion Airport, Israel's main airport, is located in a high-risk area. As a result, Ryanair is suspending all operations, following the recommendations of international organisations and its own assessment of the situation.
At this point, Ryanair has announced that flights from Poland to Israel will not resume until at least October 2025. Depending on developments in the region, this date may be further postponed.
