Ryanair has announced ambitious plans to expand its operations at Modlin Airport. Under the new agreement, the airline wants to increase the number of passengers served there to over five million a year by 2030.
The Irish low-cost giant has committed to significantly expanding its operations in Modlin. The plan is for the number of passengers served by Modlin Airport to exceed five million per year by 2030. This is the result of a new agreement that will strengthen Ryanair's position at the Mazovian airport.
As a result, the carrier also plans to double the number of aircraft based in Modlin from the current four to eight. This decision will translate into additional investments of approximately $400 million.
The development plans also include expanding the route network. As early as next year, at least seven new routes are to appear on the Modlin airport route map. This means even more opportunities for residents of Mazovia and passengers from all over Poland who are keen to use this airport.
