LOT Polish Airlines is preparing to return to the Tunisian market. The carrier is in talks with the local authorities and is now only waiting for the final decision.
LOT has been seeking the opportunity to resume regular flights to Tunisia for a long time. Advanced negotiations are currently underway with the Tunisian Ministry of Transport, which must give its consent for the Polish carrier to return to the local market.
The most likely destination will be Tunis, the capital and largest city of Tunisia. Direct flights from Warsaw would be an attractive proposition for both tourists and business travelers, strengthening ties between the two countries.
If LOT gets the green light, flights to Tunisia could become a permanent part of the carrier's network. The airline emphasizes that it is interested in regular flights that would allow it to rebuild passenger traffic between Poland and Tunisia.
