A new airline in the Polish sky and a completely unexpected new route - Aeroitalia will fly from Lublin airport to Rome.
Great news for Polish passengers - we will gain an attractive route with a brand new airline in the Polish sky. Aeroitalia, a private Italian airline, has decided to launch flights from Lublin to Rome to Fiumicino Airport. The connection from Lublin airport is scheduled to start on March 22, and the flights will operate twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Ticket prices will start at €99 one-way.

Aeroitalia is a fairly young private airline established in 2022. They are based at Rome's Fiumicino, Milan-Bergamo and Comiso airports. Their entry into Lublin will not be their first approach to this airport. Last year Aeroitalia wanted to launch flights from Lublin to Milan-Bergamo. The announced plans came to nothing, most likely due to the launch of the same destination from Lublin by Ryanair.
Now the connection is to take off with 100% certainty. Moreover, according to Fly4free.pl and its sources, Aeroitalia airline will offer passengers from Lublin comfortable one-ticket flights to most of its Italian destinations with a short transfer to Rome-Fiumicino, thanks to its wide selection of domestic flights in Italy.
