According to reports by Rynek Lotniczy, Pristina may return to LOT Polish Airlines' route network from Warsaw Chopin Airport next year.
LOT Polish Airlines has already flown to Kosovo. The Polish airline operated regular flights from Warsaw to Pristina from June to the end of September 2022. The flights were then suspended, with seat occupancy on the planes estimated at around 50%. According to the Rynek Lotniczy portal, the direct route to Kosovo from Poland may return in the 2026 summer season because: "an as yet undisclosed carrier has obtained 179 slots from the slot coordinator at Kosovo Airport. According to the preliminary allocation, the carrier – which may be LOT Polish Airlines – could carry a maximum of 31,146 passengers." If these reports prove to be true, it would mean an increase in LOT's presence in the Balkans.
