Kraków has been included in a prestigious list of the world’s best cities. The ranking of the world’s 50 best cities was published by the British magazine Time Out, and the capital of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship was the only Polish city to make the list.
In the latest ranking prepared by Time Out, Kraków ranked 16th in the world. This is a very high position, especially since the city outranked many well-known European destinations, such as Madrid, Paris, and Vienna. Kraków is the only Polish city to make the list.
The creators of the ranking evaluated cities based on many factors, including quality of life, affordability, cultural and artistic offerings, the food scene, and nightlife.
Over 24,000 people from 150 cities around the world took part in the survey. Participants’ responses were then combined with the opinions of over 100 experts from Time Out magazine. Melbourne took first place in the ranking, Shanghai came in second, and Edinburgh took third.
