Krakow may soon find itself on the route map of one of the most important carriers from the Middle East. Qatar Airways is considering launching direct flights to Krakow, with the first flights possibly taking off as early as the 2027 summer season.
Qatar Airways is intensively developing its presence on the European market. As part of this strategy, the airline is analyzing other cities to which it could launch new connections. Among the potential destinations is Krakow, one of the most popular tourist cities in Central Europe.
The expansion of the route network will be made possible by new aircraft that will soon join the carrier's fleet. At the end of this year, Qatar Airways will begin taking delivery of modern Airbus A321neo aircraft. These aircraft are designed for medium-haul routes and will enable the launch of new connections to European cities that have not been served by the carrier so far.
