The United Arab Emirates is preparing for one of the most important events in its calendar – the celebration of National Day, known as Eid Al Etihad. From the end of November, celebrations full of light, music, and patriotic emotions will take place across the country, and Dubai – as every year – will become one of the main centers of celebration.
Every year on December 2, residents and tourists in the Emirates celebrate the historic moment in 1971 when seven emirates united to form the United Arab Emirates. Eid Al Etihad is not just a day off work – it is a symbol of national pride. The holiday is celebrated in all seven emirates, and 2025 will also bring a rich program of events scattered throughout the country.
The official celebrations will last from November 27 to December 3, and the organizers have already announced numerous attractions for residents and tourists. The plans include parades, concerts, folklore performances, city illuminations, and spectacular fireworks and drone shows.
Here are the highlights of the program:
Special events and illuminations are also planned in the vicinity of Burj Khalifa. The organizers have confirmed the celebrations, but the exact dates of the shows have not yet been officially announced.
