Direct flights between Shanghai and Stockholm will return after a break of several years. China Eastern Airlines has announced the resumption of flights on the Shanghai–Stockholm route.
China Eastern Airlines will restore direct flights between Shanghai and Stockholm, thereby strengthening its network of connections between Europe and China. The first flight is scheduled for June 22, marking the carrier's return to Sweden after a hiatus in operations on this route.
The connection will operate three times a week – on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This schedule will allow travelers to conveniently plan both shorter trips and longer journeys between Europe and Asia. The flights will be operated by wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which are suitable for long-haul intercontinental flights.
