Katowice Airport recorded a historic record in November 2024, serving 351,373 travellers. This is 38,856 more than in the same period in 2023, making this month the best November in the airport's history.
In November 2024, 351,373 total travellers used the network of routes operated by Katowice Airport. This result shows the dynamic development of the airport and the growing interest in travel for both tourist and business purposes.
The regular route network, which is operated by Wizz Air, Ryanair, PLL ‘LOT’ and Air Dolomiti, carried 221,506 passengers. The increased interest in these routes demonstrates their attractiveness to both Polish and international travellers.
In November, 2,859 aircraft take-offs and landings were recorded, an increase of 153 aircraft operations compared to November 2023. The dynamic traffic at the airport is the result of growing travel demand and effective cooperation with air carriers.
