Warsaw-Modlin Airport has received significant financial support from its largest partner. Ryanair has donated €10 million to the airport to help with key infrastructure investments.
Ryanair has decided to provide Warsaw-Modlin Airport with €10 million in financial support. This is an important step for the airport near Warsaw, which has been one of the key airports serving low-cost airlines in Poland for years. The funds provided by the carrier are not in the form of a traditional subsidy.
Ryanair has made an advance payment for future invoices that will be issued by the airport for operational services provided. The money raised is to be used for necessary infrastructure investments, including, above all, the construction of a temporary terminal at Warsaw-Modlin Airport.
