The German carrier returns to Malaysia after a few years' break. Lufthansa has announced the resumption of direct flights from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur.
After a few years' break, Lufthansa will once again launch a direct connection between Europe and Malaysia. The route from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur is set to resume on October 25, marking the carrier's return to one of Southeast Asia's most important markets. The decision to reactivate the route is due to growing interest in travel to the region and increasing business and tourist traffic between Europe and Malaysia.
The new connection will operate five times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The connection will be operated by modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner long-haul aircraft.
