The Ulma Family Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport began 2026 by serving 69,543 passengers, which represents an increase of 3.21% compared to January last year. This is another month confirming the growing interest in travel from Podkarpacie, which is the result of consistent investments, infrastructure development, and the expansion of the network of connections.
In 2025, the airport handled 1,282,628 passengers, recording a 12% increase year-on-year. Last season, travelers could choose from 31 destinations (3 more than in 2024), including 15 charter destinations, to 18 countries. The most popular destinations were the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, Turkey, and Spain. The expansion of the route network is a response to the growing needs of passengers and the result of cooperation with carriers and tour operators.
“We are pleased with the successful start and cautiously forecast that, in the context of the whole year, we will exceed 1.3 million passengers served, while creating the right conditions for the further development of the airport,” said Adam Hamryszczak, president of the Ulma Family Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport.
In the 2026 summer season, passengers will be able to choose from over 20 holiday destinations. From beach relaxation to discovering urban gems during city breaks. The offer includes new destinations, such as Podgorica (Montenegro) and other attractive destinations that are sure to surprise many travel enthusiasts. The airport is consistently developing its network of connections to provide residents of the region and tourists with even more choice and comfort when traveling.
It is also worth mentioning that Ryanair, Europe's largest carrier, has announced a record summer flight schedule from Jasionka near Rzeszów. In the 2026 season, passengers will have as many as 10 routes at their disposal, including Edinburgh, which, after a successful winter debut, will also be available in the summer.
The proposals also include the return of popular holiday connections to Malta and Zadar. Thanks to this, the inhabitants of Podkarpacie will have an even wider choice of destinations.
