On 29 March 2026, Wizz Air will launch a new connection from Warsaw-Chopin to Bratislava.
Flights from the Polish capital to the Slovak capital will operate five times a week: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The route is scheduled to start on 29 March and, according to the carrier's booking system, the last flight on this route is currently scheduled for 31 December 2026 (which does not mean that the route will be discontinued, but simply that Wizz Air has not yet introduced its flight schedule for 2027).
The new connection from Warsaw to Bratislava by Wizz Air is excellent news for passengers from the Polish capital and its surroundings. The beautiful and still underrated capital of Slovakia offers many interesting monuments and attractions, such as Bratislava Castle and Devín Castle in the vicinity of the city. What is more, the journey from Bratislava to Vienna by train or bus takes about 1 hour, so you can combine visiting two cities in one trip. It is worth noting, however, that the route to Bratislava is not entirely new. Wizz Air already flew from Chopin Airport to the Slovak capital for a year from June 2017, after which the connection was cancelled.
