Quite unexpectedly, Wizz Air has cancelled its connection from Katowice to Chișinău. The last flight to the capital of Moldova will take place on January 11.
As a result of network optimization at the end of 2025, Wizz Air Polska will lose one of its most popular routes in recent months. On January 11, the Hungarian airline will operate its last flight from Katowice to Chișinău, and then the connection to the Moldovan capital will be... canceled or suspended? We do not know. The only thing we can conclude from the flight schedule is that after January 11, the Katowice-Chisinau connection will not be operated at this time. This is sad news, because in recent months Poles have been traveling to Moldova more and more often, discovering the secrets of its capital, the surrounding vineyards, and the internationally unrecognized Transnistria, which attracts visitors like a magnet. Passengers from Silesia and the surrounding area will have to wait for information about the resumption of the route in the near future.
