The first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of LOT Polish Airlines can offer passengers Wi-Fi service on board. How much does internet access cost on a LOT flight?
The Polish national airline has announced that the first aircraft in its fleet now offers internet services on board. Passengers can use Wi-Fi only on one Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with registration number SP-LSA, but in the coming months, the service is to be extended to other aircraft. We also know the preliminary price list for the first Dreamliner. How much do we have to pay for an internet connection on LOT? The Chat service will cost $7 and will allow internet access at a speed suitable for text messaging, while the streaming option will cost $29. The Streaming service will allow passengers to freely browse the internet, watch videos and live events, and work remotely.
To use the internet, passengers must enable airplane mode, select the FlyLot network from the available Wi-Fi networks, and choose the package they are interested in. The prices of the internet on LOT Polish Airlines do not differ much from the standards of the competition, but it may be surprising that there is no free package, for example for members of loyalty programmes, or free megabytes to encourage passengers to purchase a larger package after using up the free internet.
