The Vietnamese airline will fly a new route from the Vietnamese capital to northern Italy next year.
Vietnam Airlines has added a new direct route to Europe to its booking system, This time it fell on Milan, the largest city in northern Italy. The Vietnamese carrier will begin regular flights on the new route on July 1, 2025. The service will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft three times a week: on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight duration will be 11 hours.

Milan will be the fifth city in the Vietnamese carrier's European route network. In addition to the Lombardian capital, Vietnam Airlines still operates airports in London, Paris, Frankfurt am Main and Munich (flights to Munich will not take off until October this year). Vietnam Airlines' new route is another opportunity for cheap flights from Poland to Vietnam with a short transfer at Milan-Malpensa airport.
