PKP Intercity has changed its rules for selling train tickets for its international connections. Now, tickets can be purchased 180 days in advance. However, there are exceptions.
This is great news for travellers from Poland. If you are planning to travel abroad by train from Poland in the coming months, you should make a note of this information! PKP Intercity has changed the rules for selling train tickets for international connections. Now, tickets for PKP Intercity trains to Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Lithuania can be purchased 180 days before the planned date of travel. This is a great convenience for all passengers. However, there are two exceptions: for connections to the Czech Republic, the ticket purchase period has been changed to 90 days before travel, and for tickets to Ukraine, it is still 20 days before travel. Payments can be made on the PKP Intercity website or in the mobile app. Tickets sold at ticket offices still have a maximum sale period of 60 days before the planned journey.
