Szczecin-Goleniow Airport recorded a net loss of over PLN 11 million in 2024. The main reasons for this difficult situation are competition from Berlin Airport and a limited range of flights.
Last year was exceptionally difficult for the Szczecin airport. Total operating costs significantly exceeded revenues, resulting in a net loss of PLN 11,122,774. This is PLN 1,032,887 worse than in 2023.
In 2024, 479,186 passengers used the airport's services. The small number of connections, combined with the attractive offer of the nearby Berlin airport, meant that many travelers chose alternative airports.
