July in Jasionka with historically highest number of passengers

July 2025 brought the Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport named after the Ulma Family its best monthly result in its history in terms of the number of passengers served. Over the course of 31 days, 157,506 passengers used the airport's services, which represents an increase of almost 16% compared to July last year (136,310).

At the same time, this is nearly 14,000 more passengers than in the previous best month, which was June this year (143,573). In total, 732,223 passengers flew from Jasionka in the first seven months of 2025, which in turn represents an increase of 17% compared to the same period in 2024.

Charter flights accounted for the largest share of passenger traffic in July, with 74,027 passengers traveling on tour operator and travel agency flights, an increase of 21% year-on-year. The most popular holiday destinations were Antalya, Sharm el-Sheikh, Heraklion, Enfidia, and Rhodes. In the scheduled segment, the most passengers traveled to Warsaw, London, Munich, Milan, and Rome. Most chose Ryanair.

- July confirmed that charter connections are the driving force behind our traffic in the summer season. More and more residents of the macroregion are choosing the Podkarpacie airport as the first stop on their holiday trip, which is the result of consistent expansion of our offer and cooperation with tour operators. This result is the fruit of the work of the entire team and our business partners, with whom we raise the bar every year and offer an increasingly attractive network of connections - says Adam Hamryszczak, president of the Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport named after the Ulma family.

August promises to be just as busy and may bring results similar to those in July, with a total of 29 routes currently offered to 17 countries. In September, most of the sunny destinations will remain on offer, while October will bring another new addition – the launch of direct flights to Edinburgh, Scotland.

- What we are seeing is not only an increase in passenger numbers, but also Jasionka’s increasingly strong position on the map of Polish airports. Charters and regular connections create a balanced offer that attracts both tourists and business travelers. Today, our airport is a modern gateway to the world for the Podkarpacie region - adds Wladyslaw Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Province.
