Philippine Airlines will launch a new long-haul route between Manila and Chicago. The route will become one of the world's longest scheduled flights.
The two cities are separated by over 13,000 kilometers, making the new route one of the longest flights operated by the airline. The direct connection is expected to significantly facilitate travel between the Philippines and the United States.
The inaugural flight is scheduled for November 9 of this year. Flights will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
