The authorities of the Olsztyn-Mazury airport are talking to LOT Polish Airlines about the possibility of launching two new routes from the Szymany airport: to Wrocław and Szczecin.
Wiktor Wójcik, CEO of the Olsztyn-Mazury airport, gave a very interesting interview to the fly4free.pl portal. During the interview, the president revealed that the authorities of the Olsztyn airport are in talks with LOT regarding the launch of two new domestic connections from the airport in Mazury: to Wrocław and Szczecin. Mr Wójcik sees potential for even one connection per day in each direction. It is expected that flights from Olsztyn to Wrocław will start in the near future. This is very important for the Olsztyn airport, which for some time was the smallest airport in Poland and is now trying to recover from the crisis.
