Katowice Airport has completed the first phase of construction of the new off-site car park, designated ‘P5’. This means almost a thousand new parking spaces near the airport.
Thanks to this investment, the airport has gained 863 additional parking spaces, which has increased the total number of parking spaces on its premises to around 6,700. Car park P5 was built in the south-eastern part of the airport. It is equipped with a monitoring system and modern lighting, which increases the security of vehicles left by travellers.
To ensure passenger comfort, the airport has introduced a free shuttle service from car park P5 to the passenger terminals. This solution makes it easier for travellers to get to their flights quickly and comfortably, regardless of the number of bags they are carrying.
