Good news for travelers planning trips to the United States. LOT Polish Airlines has announced that next year it will significantly increase the frequency of flights between Krakow and Chicago.
Currently, travelers can fly from Krakow to Chicago once a week — every Monday. Despite the limited number of flights, this route has remained one of the key intercontinental offerings of Krakow Airport for years.
The first changes will take place at the beginning of April, when the carrier will increase the frequency to two flights per week. This is a response to the growing interest in travel to the US among both tourists and people visiting family overseas. The next stage of the network expansion will take place on May 16. From that day on, LOT will operate the Krakow-Chicago route four times a week, significantly improving the availability of the connection.
The highest number of flights will be available from the beginning of June to September 12, 2026, during the peak travel season. During this time, flights will operate five times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
