Lovers of travel to Eastern Europe have reason to rejoice. Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced an increase in the frequency of flights from Katowice to the capital of Moldova, Chisinau.
The Katowice-Chisinau connection will be launched on 1 June 2025. Initially, flights will operate four times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, allowing travellers to flexibly plan both short trips and longer stays.
From October, Wizz Air will increase the frequency of flights, adding flights on Mondays. This means that the Katowice–Chisinau route will be operated five times a week, which demonstrates the growing interest in this destination among both tourists and business passengers.
