Polish airline LOT has entered into a codeshare partnership with Italian airline ITA Airways, which will allow passengers to comfortably visit as many as 10 Italian cities on a single ticket with a transfer in Rome.
Polish airline LOT has announced a codeshare partnership with Italy's national airline ITA Airways. What does this mean? In simple terms: LOT passengers will be able to fly to up to 10 Italian cities with a comfortable transfer in Rome-Fiumicino on a single ticket, combining travel with LOT and ITA Airways.
Thanks to the codeshare with ITA Airways, passengers will be able to complete the entire route with a single ticket, with a uniform baggage policy and fare conditions. Travellers will be able to fly from Warsaw to the following 10 Italian cities with a transfer in Rome: Bari, Bologna, Brindisi, Florence, Genoa, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Naples, Palermo and Turin. Miles&More members will be able to collect air miles on each leg of the journey. Similarly, ITA Airways passengers will be able to travel from Rome to Warsaw and transfer to another flight in the LOT Polish Airlines network on a single ticket.
As LOT writes on its website: LOT Polish Airlines passengers can already book new connections, which will be valid in this formula from 10 April 2025. Tickets for flights are available through all LOT Polish Airlines and ITA Airways sales channels, including the lot.com website, the LOT Contact Centre and LOT Travel offices.
